Prosthesis-Orthotics Congress was held at Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center on 19-21 October 2023. Assoc Prof Bahar KÜLÜNKOĞLU was in the congress organizing and scientific committee also Res. Asst. Sevilay Seda BAŞ was in the congress organizing committee. Assoc. Prof. Bahar KÜLÜNKOĞLU had an interview with Amputee Football National Team Player Barış Telli for the opening panel of the congress. She chaired the session at the conference titled MyFit Transtibial 3D Modeling and was a speaker at the panel titled Treatment of Phantom Pain. Assoc Prof Ertuğrul DEMİRDEL took part in the oral presentation session as the session chair. Res Asst Sevilay Seda BAŞ presented an oral presentation titled "4-Week Rehabilitation Results in a Patient Using Hip Disarticulation Prosthesis: Case Report". Also studies, titled "Biomechanical Effect of Prosthesis Use in Upper Extremity Amputations, Transhumeral Case Example" and "Comparison of Gait Characteristics and Pelvic Symmetry of Individuals with Diabetic Neuropathy and Dementia" were presented. Two of the studies’ authors were Assoc Prof Bahar KÜLÜNKOĞLU and Res Asst Sevilay Seda BAŞ. Research staff from our department attended the congress Res Asst Hilal ASLAN, Res Asst Emine Kübra AY and Res Asst Selda KARAKOÇ. In the congress, 2nd and 3rd grade students of our department also took part as volunteers.
